This Land Cruiser was commissioned by a client in Houston, Texas who wanted an FJ40 for his daily drive and the occasional off-road adventure. With an upgraded powertrain and an abundance of classic luxuries, this classic 4x4 has been transformed into a rugged multitasker.

Legendary Looks
There's just something about the FJ40 and its legendary steel body with all of those sharp edges, exposed welds, and heavy-duty construction. No, they definitely don't make them like this anymore. But yet, here it is, the legend in its prime, with its iconic rounded front grille adorned with the unmistakable Toyota badge, rolling on 31” BFGoodrich All-Terrains, fully restored and painted in Olive (653), a shade that reminds us of dirt roads, and endless horizons.

Modern Capability
Look under the hood of this FJ40 and you'll find the fuel-injected Toyota 1FZ engine, a 210-horsepower inline-six paired with a 5-speed transmission. To help harness all of that extra power, this FJ40 is equipped with our upgraded Advanced Power Steering, front disc brakes and Old Man Emu suspension. All four-wheel drive components were restored to perfection, so our client can go from the road to the trail without skipping a beat.

Wildly Civilized
The interior of this FJ40 is a rugged oasis. Trimmed in tan vinyl, the U.S.-style front bucket seats, rear jump seats, and the exposed metal dash exude pure vintage style, while the digital gauge cluster illuminates important vehicle information.
