This 1983 Land Cruiser FJ45’s restoration process is well underway. Stay posted for updates here.
This FJ45, a long wheelbase model, once belonged to the Colombian National Guard. The National University then used it for several years before selling it to a foundation that helped troubled teens. Here, it transported provisions to the foundation’s rural headquarters, navigating dirt roads for hours on end.
Its new owner in Texas commissioned us to turn it into an awesome farm vehicle for the entire family. We're putting in the more powerful Toyota 3F engine and making the driving experience simple with an automatic transmission. The exterior will be painted in beige and we're doing custom soft-top in beige as well. To keep things matching, the interior will be re-upholstered in beige/tan color with two bucket seats in the front, a rear bench, and fold down seats way in the back.
In all, this is going to be a fun driving machine. Stay tuned for updates. If you're interested in a similar vehicle, check out our inventory FJ45 Land Cruisers.
