This Land Cruiser was made to stand out. Since 1982, it has been in the care of a single owner, whose passion for Land Cruisers rivals our own. Now a man in his 90s, he sold his prized FJ43 directly to us, proudily showing off documentation dating back to the purchase date.
The Land Cruiser - Reborn
In the hands of our Innovation Lab, this FJ43 was selected to spearhead a very special project, sporting a brand new Toyota 1GR-FE engine. We'll be releasing details as we get closer to a big reveal in November of 2018.
About the FJ43
The Land Cruiser FJ43, was produced from 1960 to 1984. Like other models in the 40 series, it features the iconic white bezel-framed headlights and radiator grille, as well as the rectangular rear wheel arches. While aftermarket coach builders created multiple versions of the FJ43, this model was available mainly as a soft top, a 2-door station wagon (the FJ43V) or a hardtop. Gasoline-powered models produced prior to 1975 were equipped with the original F engine, while later models carried the 2F.
